Stadsschouwburg Utrecht, Sandton Malie Hotel
Just a 15-minute walk from Sandton Malie Hotel is Utrecht's municipal theatre, the Stadsschouwburg, which is the leading theatre for the Central Netherlands. In two auditoria and at various other locations in and around the theatre, more than 550 performances and activities are scheduled each year, embracing everything from modern dance to musicals and innovative theatre to romantic opera. The Stadsschouwburg also hosts numerous famous Utrecht festivals such as Springdance, Festival aan de Werf, Tweetakt and the Dutch Film Festival. The theatre also has its own restaurant, “Zindering”.
