The home of football club PSV is a three-minute drive from Sandton Hotel Eindhoven City Centre. The stadium lies in the centre of Eindhoven and still stands on the same site as it did when the Philips Sport Vereniging was founded in 1913. The PSV stadium is regarded as one of the Netherlands’ best football stadiums, partly because of the stands that are cheek-by-jowl with the pitch, the outstanding lighting and turf and the first-rate facilities for the press and business partners. On match days, the PSV stadium can hold 35,000 spectators, and all the seats are heated and under cover. The PSV stadium is also known as the Philips Stadium.
