A three-minute drive from Sandton Hotel Eindhoven City Centre is a fascinating museum where, in changing exhibitions, you will see paintings, sculptures, objects and other works of art in which artificial light plays a central role. From light bulbs to fluorescent lights and from neon lighting to black light: you will find them all here. The works of art illustrate how important artificial light is in our society and how it influences our experience of the world around us. As well as narrative works of art, the exhibitions include abstract light sculptures and three-dimensional light objects. What is particularly interesting to experience is how the different aspects of light, such as intensity, clarity and colour, determine the appearance of the works of art and their impact on you, the viewer! An experienced guide will explain the works of art to you during the tour. One thing is certain: after a visit to this centre, you will always look differently at artificial light in our daily life.
