The Museum van het Kostuum en de Kant (Museum of Costume and Lace) is just 0.7 km from Sandton Brussels Centre. This museum has been specially designed to house lacework, embroidery, costumes and, among other things, Haute-Couture. The museum has been amassing its particularly rich and varied collection for a quarter of a century. However, the collection is not just a reflection of the museum’s acquisition policy, as a large percentage of the exhibits are private donations. The museum houses costumes from the 17th to the 20th century.
