The Internationale Stichting Jacques Brel (International Jacques Brel Foundation) is within walking distance of Sandton Brussels Centre. The building is situated on a picturesque square in the old part of Brussels. Here, you can walk in the footsteps of Jacques Brel, with exhibitions such as “A last evening with Brel in the Olympia”. Jacques Brel was an international singer, composer and songwriter. After quitting live performing in 1967, he remained active for some time as a film actor/director. So, as well as the music, Brel's skills on stage and on the big screen also feature heavily in this museum. Here, you can experience the life of one of the most famous artists to come from Belgium.
