Erasmus House, Sandton Brussels Centre
Just fifteen minutes’ drive from Sandton Brussels Centre is the Erasmushuis (Erasmus House). The museum is located in a stylish building dating back to around the 16th century, which was converted to a museum in 1932 and given listed status in 1937. Today, this museum is home to a unique collection of furniture, works of art, etchings, books and an archive which reflect the dynamic moments of European history. In 2009, the Erasmus House also won an award voted for by the public as part of the Brussels Museum Prize competition, proving that this museum is certainly worth a visit.
