If you collect modern art or antiques, it’s well worth paying a visit to the Spiegelkwartier. What’s more, it’s easy to get to, because the Spiegelkwartier is within walking distance of Sandton Hotel De Filosoof. On the other side of the bridge, opposite the Rijksmuseum, you will find this historic district with its typical old Dutch houses. It’s also easy to combine a stroll around the Spiegelkwartier with a visit to one of the many museums, such as the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh museum and the Allard Pierson Museum, which are also within walking distance.
