Paradiso, Sandton Hotel De Filosoof
Paradiso, which was established in 1968 as a youth centre and, over the years, evolved into a cultural centre, is a pop venue that is internationally renowned for its atmosphere and acoustics. This cultural centre is within walking distance of Sandton Hotel De Filosoof. This former church regularly plays host to major pop artists and bands which, over the years, have included Nirvana, David Bowie, Prince, The Police, Red Hot Chili Peppers, U2, Pink Floyd and the Rolling Stones. As well as an extensive and diverse music programme, Paradiso regularly holds disco parties that last well into the small hours.
